Founded in 1978 by David Clarkson, the company is now in its second generation of the Clarkson family and today we are proud to be regarded as Scotland’s premier award-winning supplier of used light commercial vehicles. We are based in Glasgow’s East End at the well known ‘Baillieston Traffic Lights’ conveniently situated on the A8 just off the M74, M8 & M73 (at the Baillieston interchange). Being located on a main dual carriageway we are very easy to find and have easy vehicular access from all directions
We are immensely proud to remain an independent family driven business with strong beliefs and high moral values – sadly lacking in so many of the faceless multinational organisations. We thrive on repeat custom and enjoy a huge slice of referral business from existing clients. We DON’T employ ‘salesmen’ & we DON’T employ sales tactics …. we tell it how it is in a friendly no pressure manner over a coffee and a chat.
As well as having a highly visible main road location the internet allows us to operate geographically on the UK scale. On a daily basis, we are selling light commercials across the length and breadth of the country. No matter your location in the UK we can make buying a van as easy as if we were next door – that’s a promise.
It’s all about the quality. Barry Clarkson (2nd generation in the business) is the sole buyer for the company and sources stock on a daily basis from all corners of the UK.
